Anti-Human Trafficking Program

Deyǫgwadawęnye:
(day-own-gwa-daw-wen-yay)
Cayuga word meaning ‘We Are All Travelling Together’

We provide brief services, long term individual and group counselling, as well as a safe environment for Indigenous Youth ages 12-25 who are at risk, victims, or have been victims of Human Trafficking/Sexual Exploitation.

Counsellors use mainstream education and Haudenosaunee culture and values to address and meet the needs of each individual to assist them on their healing journey.

What is Human Trafficking?
It is the recruitment, transportation, harbouring and/or exercising control or influence over the movements of a person in order to exploit that person, typically through sexual exploitation or forced labour.

To access the Anti Human Trafficking services call (519)445-4324 to speak to an Intake Worker.

If you or someone you know is being trafficked or at risk of trafficking, call the Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-833-900-1010
