Ęgodinigohahni:yoh Youth Family Violence Prevention Group

Ęgodinigohahniyoh (en-go-dee-nee-kwa-nee-yoh)
Cayuga word meaning ‘They Will Have Strong Minds’

Ęgodinigohahniyoh is a 7 week youth family violence prevention group. It is a unique program that sets itself apart from other family violence educational groups.

The program is a co-ed group for at risk youth ages 12 years old and up, seeking to learn and understand the dynamics of family violence, abusive relationships, and the impacts on self, family and community. It is an excellent program for young males and  females to become empowered and to make positive changes toward a violence free life.

Ęgodinigohahniyoh is culturally sensitive, encompassing First Nations perspectives on family violence. We also share traditional teachings or our Good Mind duality which help individuals with taking responsibility for their choices and their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
